Welcome to Turistgården Särna

Turistgården has 8 rooms with a total of 16 beds. You can book the whole house for a group, or just one or several rooms. We have several shared spaces where groups can hang out together, and a cosy dining hall where the meals are served. More about our rooms can be found here. We put a big focus on food and use local and organic ingredients. As we follow the seasons, you will find a lot of fresh veggies on our menu during summer, while the winter-menu consists more of meat and stews. Of course we are able to adapt our menu in case of dietry restrictions. Here at Turistgården you will definately get a taste of Dalarna!

We work together with some very experienced guides and are happy to help you plan your visit. How about a guided snowshoe hike with cooking over an open fire, or an introduction to ice fishing? Or maybe your guests would like to learn how to make the classic swedish cinnamon bun? Join us for a hike to one of the many waterfalls that surround Särna, or take a dip in the lake.
